Uganda Log: Wednesday 21 October 2009
That's me packing up all the heavy scientific equipment and other supplies for the trip back to Byumba.
Nate and P.J. gave the old guy all the hard jobs while they relaxed in the Guesthouse playing Scrabble with Gideon.
A bridge is being repaired on our way to Byumba. Somehow this reminded me of how the Streets and Sanitation Department operated when I lived in Chicago. One guy was working the shovel and 30 guys were standing around watching him.
Obviously this is the way road repairs are accomplished in southwestern Uganda.
