We have arrived in Buhoma, a small town just outside one of the gates to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
This video is of a small road past an elementary school leading down to the Guesthouse which will be our home base of operations. There we will be receive our meals, recharge our computer equipment, load our vehicle with supplies and scientific paraphernalia, print out photographs of the Batwa pygmies. review and backup research data, and plan out strategies. We will be sleeping in other accommodations on the other side of town--about a 40 minute walk from the guest house.
We visited Guest House and met P.J., Blackie, Gino the cook, Susan the housekeeper, Joseph and Levy the guides from the Batwa Development Program (BDP), Morton and Nina, medical student from Denmark, and many others.
