Erin and P.J. fit a Mutwa with a Bioharness which should record data of all movement (in 3 dimensions) during his walk along the one kilometer transect. This is to determine if small people need to move less as they bob, weave, and step over objects along their way.
Nate takes an image with his thermo camera before and after a subject walks the transect. By counting the number of pixels in the area of the opened mouth, the computer can determine how much heat (energy) was difference between the starting and finishing times.
This Mutwa is either poising for Nate, or serenading the young girl beside him. (I'm not sure which).
